That partnership is the difference between a new program and a new program with a decade of infrastructure behind it — certified services, established supervision, and clinicians who have done this work in this community before.

What we do
Substance use treatment
Assessment, individual counseling, and group treatment for adults — grounded in ASAM criteria and delivered by licensed clinicians.
Mental health treatment
Diagnostic evaluation and individual and group psychotherapy for adults across the conditions that most often go untreated in our community.
Co-occurring care
Most people we expect to serve are living with both a substance use disorder and a mental health condition. We are designing for that from the start, not bolting it on.
Why Dayton
Montgomery County has spent a decade near the front of Ohio's overdose crisis. The gap isn't awareness — it's access: too few outpatient slots, waitlists measured in weeks, and almost nothing designed for someone carrying a substance use disorder and a mental health diagnosis at the same time. Utopia Therapeutics exists to add capacity where it's actually missing.
